The apartment is located in upcoming trendy area at the border of Kreuzberg and Neukölln (known as Kreuzkölln) in the middle of the multi-cultural Berlin scene. Just a few metres away from the Hermannplatz. “Kreuzköln” is now really booming, with bars, cafes, galleries and restaurants opening almost every week. The attractive Turkish market takes place every Tuesday and Friday along the Canal (Maybachufer) where you can buy fresh vegetables, fish, meat or try a delicious treat. 3 Parks are within walking distance (including the former Historical Airport Berlin Tempelhof) You will find all the public transportation that you need in order to get through Berlin. In 2 minutes walk you can reach the metro station U8, U7, Bus M41 and M29 (which is quite special because it passes by the Jewish Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, the Martin Gropius Bau, Potsdamer Platz, the New National Gallery and the KuDamm). There are many supermarkets in the area (Edeka, Lidl, Aldi, Karstadt in Hermanplatz (3 min away) a Bio LPG, and many kiosks and bakeries open all night long. Cafes and a variety of international restaurants, for all tastes and budgets are right on your doorstep too! Here you can experience the real Berlin nightlife in bars and clubs, all in within walking distance: Weserstraße, Hobrechtstrasse, Ohlauerstrasse, Reichenbergerstrasse and Kottbusser Tor. And during the summer Club Der Visionäre and Badeschiff are really close. The perfect spot for a sunny Saturday is just around the corner. The Volkspark Hasenheide offers petting zoo, rose garden, themed children’s playgrounds, a mini-golf course and an open-air cinema with large areas of lawn perfect for picnic or an outdoor game.
